General Description

The University of North Alabama invites applications for a Lecturer of Entertainment Industry, beginning August 2020, to meet a growing student demand in the Department of Entertainment Industry. Area of specialization is teaching recording and entertainment technology classes and coordinating related labs. The successful candidate is expected to have a full-time commitment to teaching and service; knowledge of ProTools and other current software is a must; and university level teaching and industry experience is preferred. Typical load is advising plus five class sections per semester. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Minimum Qualifications

A Master’s degree in a related area is a minimum to apply. The successful candidate is expected to have a full-time commitment to teaching and service; knowledge of ProTools and other current software is a must; and university-level teaching and industry experience is preferred.

Salary Range Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
