The College of Business is hiring administrative assistant for the Music Business Program. This position is responsible for supporting critical administrative processes to ensure smooth operations. Efforts include managing access and requests to the Director’s schedule, providing daily schedules to the Director, considering schedule availability and priorities, tracking budgets, working with COB fiscal operations to ensure fiscal processes are followed; coordination of meetings; ensuring accurate and timely processing of administrative paperwork; and general support of music business program administrative needs. This position requires strong organization, ability to prioritize, and multi-task, ability to work effectively with executives and diverse stakeholders with a deep attention to detail.
This role reports to the Director of Music Business with a dotted line to the Fiscal Operations Manager and will be essential to enable the Director to focus on college-wide priorities and strategic initiatives while ensuring things stay on track.
This position is a full-time special 12-month position with a one-year term, renewable contingent upon available funding, continued business needs, and satisfactory performance in the role.
