Assistant Professor of Music Production, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship

The Department of Music within the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Science at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, invites candidates for Assistant Professor of Music Production, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship beginning August 2023.  Full-time faculty at UIW are expected to teach four courses in the fall semester and four courses in the spring semester. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission.  Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s Degree in Music with a focus on aspect of music innovation, technology, or entrepreneurship, or similar degree.
  • One year of teaching experience in music or relevant field.
  • Significant experience as a music entrepreneur.
