The Department of Management at Missouri State University seeks to fill two positions among the Clinical Assistant/Assistant/Associate or Instructor levels starting in January or August 2025.

Area of Specialization: Entertainment/Sport Management

Primary Job Duties: The standard teaching load is 12 hours per semester (four courses). The successful candidate will primarily teach undergraduate-level entertainment/sport management courses. Secondary teaching assignments in management-related classes may be at the undergraduate or graduate level. The successful candidate will also support the success of the Entertainment Management Association, one of the College's signature student organizations, serve as an ex officio member of the Entertainment Management (Alumni) Advisory Council, and meet university service requirements. All candidates must be committed to working for the professional success of students from all backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications: a master's degree in business, entertainment or sport management or a closely related field and 3+ years of significant experience in the entertainment/sport industry or a closely related field.  The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
